For there would be no world to live and laugh,
Only a world with dead endless cries.
Men would be lost broken in half,
Wondering with darkness over their eyes.
For there would be no reason to go to work,
But simply be idle and let the time fly.
Similar would be the goals of the smart and the berk,
And lost would be the need to try.
For there would be nothing to hold on to,
At times when our fate turns dark.
Hope is all that Men ever knew,
Churning mankind, the eternal arc.
