A Secret Road

So there is this road, a road less travelled which only opens up when you really need a walk. Recently I strolled by that road and found something beautiful.

Would you like to take a walk there?

Come, let me take you. It is beautiful…

A Secret Road

Surrounded by fields on both sides,
Harbouring all those who wish to hide,
Lies a road less travelled, lesser known,
Where only you can be your guide.
Covered with a sheet of shining stars,
With moonlight to heal all your scars,
Lies a road less travelled, lesser known,
I learnt that solace ends all inner wars.
Nothing mystical about this place,
But a route where you get to face
All those troubles that eat you from within,
Take a quiet walk, it gives you your space.
Wind blows forever on that road,
Calm and gentle neither hot nor cold,
Lies the road less travelled, lesser known,
Amidst calmness peace will unfold.
