#Long_Post_on_Mental_Health_and_well_being (with a Poem, obviously)
Today on a sunny day from the distant land of India, I want to speak to my readers about their mental health. I cannot consult you on your physical health because I am not a doctor of any sorts but what I am is a Human being who understands the importance of communication and words.
So Hi to you sitting in the Western Hemisphere and to you in the region above the equator. Hello to those who are with me on this side of the planet and Howdy to those in the region below, I hope I have covered everyone. I know some of you are going through a phase and that phase is dreadful. But, just like every problem and situation, this too has a solution. DETOX!
You amazing people, you all need to realise that sometimes the misery is not because of anything that you did but only because your mind wants a break. So, first let me tell you when you should think about Detox… (Read the lines below)
When the mind seizes and thoughts go wrong,
Spring freezes and noisy seem the song,
Anxiety increases and nights go long,
Nothing pleases and nothing comes along,
Food seems bitter and unpleasant,
Friends seem disturbance even when they are present,
Even a small appreciation seems like flattery,
And everything just looks dull in its entirety,
It is then when you need to Detox.
Now the Question comes, how to Detox?
That’s simple actually. Detox means to do what you love. Like absolutely unconditionally LOVE. It could be reading, writing, painting, dancing, travelling, working out, eating food, cooking, watching movies and the list can go on and on and on.
Pick your hobby/passion and just go with it. Just like you body, give a quiet time to you mind as well.
And one thing we don’t hear enough, In case you need to talk, just share with someone. It helps, trust me.
You can even share them with me over mail in case you feel like opening up or just talking.
