You never know what you may find and for what purpose that thing came into your life. Just remember, there will always be a purpose.
Once I found a coin by the sea shore,
Don’t know why but I just kept it.
I wish I could know about it a bit more,
Perhaps at least the country where it used to fit.
Engraving suggested maybe from a distant land,
Once of value to someone today lying in the sand,
It was hard to let it go from my hand,
Why?, I still cannot comprehend.
Well now I do for I recently gave it up,
Not to any friend but to a real collector.
And got myself a good amount of cash,
With which I did something even greater.
The coin was exquisite and so was the smile,
As it covered the old collector’s face.
Even more priceless was that while,
When I sat down with all those hungry poor kids and said grace.
What a coin, huh?
