“Who are you?”,

A story.

“Is that supposed to be true?”,

Unequivocally.

“Story has many characters.”

I am.

“Are you an actor?”

Just like all of us, I too am.

“What roles do you play?”

Depends to whom I say.

“Do you portray?”

Every single day.

“Which roles?”

I start my day as a Son and a Husband,

Venture out to the living room as a Father.

Drive out into the world as a Friend,

Meet so many as a brother.

Work with many as an employee and a boss,

Do my bit as a citizen of the world.

Play human when I see a gain or a loss,

And return home a little bit learned.

Thus I am a story, thus I am an Actor,

In me I sometimes see a stranger.
