Just when I woke up.
As I lay motionless and warm,
Engulfed in the darkness of night,
I am convinced that I am blind,
For it has consumed my sight.
Every sound is of suspicion,
And surrounding is just unclear.
Such is the night of misconception,
Even Reason causes fear.
But now I am able to smile,
For I can see the shapes.
Darkness makes sight worthwhile,
Just like Sunlight through the drapes.
