Choice

I am happy to announce that I am happy. Yes, I think that should do…

Hello fellow mortal, playing the game of life. Happiness and Sadness, ups and downs, rights and wrongs are all taking their turns and making you jump the hoops, right?

That’s alright. Life is 10% events and 90% reactions to those events.

So while we cannot control 10%, we can definitely command the remaining 90% with the help of a Trick. A trick for life.

Good Morning to all, all the way from India!

Namaste 🙂

Trick

“Every action has an equal and opposite reaction”

A law of science which is absolute and true.

Also true is the law of ramification,

“Our actions which are reactions have consequences too”.

Most of our open eyed time,

Is spent on figuring out, what to do.

And while this is necessary and prime,

I see a trick for life clearly through.

Embracing events with positivity and smile,

Is the only simple trick we can do.

Being angry, sad, or even scared is not worthwhile,

Something amazing is always hidden from view.

This is his story. A story which created history. Very few know him, even fewer understand him and perhaps no one ever got to see the real him.

Who is he?

He is anyone, everyone, and no one.

This is our story. A story of which we all are a part of.

His-Story
A con man with an uncommon genuine smile,
Predicating an image that is still unclear,
Is always facing some or the other trial,
For his mind has both courage and fear.

Humble at the very core but not so much on the skin,
Just like the world we so much adore, we too are on a spin.
And to win?, Con man must be a kin,
And so we all have this evil twin.

Passionate is another charm of time,
Without which nothing is fine.
Each step in life is like a line.
His story is for him to design.

To be truthful, not being truthful is alright,
For with situations we need to change our sight.
Lose if you must for trying is right,
His story speaks about everyone's fight.

Good Morning Reader!

Weekend is here and nothing brings us more joy than a Saturday Morning.

Keeping the joy and excitement alive, I plan to give you a paheli that will amuse you and add to the randomness we all long and love in our life.

Now this paheli or puzzle if you may is going to be in the form of a Poem (Wow! As if you didn’t know :P)

But before I go on to the fun part, I have but a small request…

Comment one puzzle for everyone to solve or, state the most random thing you would like to do this weekend

Paheli

A dim-wit once said, ” I am smart,

Smart if you think I am Silly.

In this play of ours I play my part,

Heart is wiser than mind. Really?

Amidst the horde I feel cold,

While in winter I am warm.

I gave money for the items I sold,

And it worked on everyone like a charm.

Days are long and nights are short,

Months are slower than years,

I live in my 3 bedroom fort,

Where the dust is very clear.”

A dim-wit once said, ” I am silly,

As Silly is the new smart.

You are more than these labels really,

So who am I in your chart?”

~ A wise dim-wit idiot.

I have a label on my head,

“One who deceives for his gain.”

I trick and lie to earn my bread,

But am I the one who is insane?

I walk amongst others like a regular bloke,

And see no difference between you and I,

We all behave the same round the clock,

Show me one person who does not lie.

I have a label on my head,

But I don’t hide behind any tower.

Denounce this false high that you are being fed,

Kindness lies in being yourself, being yourself is power.

I seek a conversation with me,

But I rarely can manage time.

So I asked, when will I be free?,

Some time during the rhyme.

Amidst all the hustle and bustle,

I found time for everything else,

Life presents opportunities only after tussle,

Opportunities encoded in the book we write for ourselves.

So take a walk and talk during the walk,

For at times you need to hear it from yourself.

Each solution that I need,

Is right next to me round the clock.

Surrounded by fields of golden wheat,

With edge of the forest as it’s fence,

Stood a small town with narrow bricked streets,

Harbouring nothing but suspence.

Many who went there lived the same day,

Uncertain of their own eye’s account.

Strangely enough they all lost their way,

When they met her, a mathematician who couldn’t count.

Her charm was perfect like an old magic spell,

Which gained the trusts of travellers she came by.

Her smile was innocent and meant only well,

And eyes were deep, beautiful and shy.

She asked three questions…

“Where lies the destination you are so destined to be?

For the end is similar for all. Just be free.

Do you really chase your dreams or are you trying to flee?

Careful, this answer is the key.

Close your eyes to see who you are supposed to be?

And just like that, they all ended up alone before a lake by a tree.”

No one ever saw her or heard her voice again,

Yet they felt estrange and rejoice,

Who was that girl and where did she vanish?

Or maybe she was conscience seeking a clear choice.

Let me ask you about your dream.

Close your eyes and shuffle your thoughts.

Reckon you are witnessing images in stream,

Now stand back and connect the dots.

Plenty of pictures and moments to look at,

But very few of them brighten your eyes.

Well dear reader I hope you get that,

Nobody but you can nullify your lies.

Yes, things aren’t as simple as philosophy claims to be,

Yes, life has its way of being bounded or free,

Smile and claim your goals. Deal but don’t plea,

And once you do, we will converse your story.

Tea or coffee?
