Everything is in the state of Mayhem, 

Perhaps also the factory from where we get brain.

For if this is your idea of sane,

My dear, you are definitely on cocaine.

 

And I saw a few good men yesterday,

No not people, I meant the movie.

Oh, I am a man by the way,

But cannot include myself, it sounds cocky.

 

So lately, I have been eating healthy, 

And posting about it on social media.

Most of my posts are for the wealthy,

Because their recipes feels like reading encyclopedia.

 

I did a good thing today,

And didn’t do anything for the rest 364 days.

But… I clicked 365 pictures from every possible way,

Therefore, I did a good thing everyday.

 

My favourite TV show is the one I was told to watch,

Because it’s trending right now.

Who cares about the story?

Anyone who won’t watch it, is lame somehow.

 

I can go on and on about the joke we are,

But it won’t be fair as the apple doesn’t fall far.

Let me end this pretension of being sane,

Let’s face it, We all love being bizarre.

You know what… Just play it cool!

 

 

Let’s part ways with the respectful methods,

And talk in the rawest of forms.

Denounce hiding and set the records straight,

Being badass is setting your own norms.

 

Call what you see,

Be you, simply be free.

Bottomline: The world will always misread.

Don’t bother, let them and you just be.

 

Do what you please, as long as it doesn’t harm anyone else.

For being badass is even more cool without creating any mess.

Make your own rules, goals and set yourself a bar so high,

That even you realise you have no option but to try.

 

Stop reading this, go write your own lines now,

Let them see you succeed and wonder, “How?”.

You be the one whom you does or doesn’t’ allow,

Rule no. 1: You make the rules now.

Let’s look at the funny aspect of our lives, alright?

Let’s laugh a little. Enough with all the sadness and lectures and drama and stuff.

 

Life starts at school,

Where with a backpack we try to act cool.

Some score high and some low, however,

In front of our “Einstein” friends we end up as a fool.

 

Later comes extra curricular,

Where we are expected to explore.

But our crush is not in the same group.

Last I remember, I was out cold on the gym floor.

 

Teenage is already so hard,

One day I am playing make believe,

The other I am dealing cards.

Is it weird to think, me and my buddies are Avengers: Earth’s guards?

 

Have you been to college yet,

Trust me its a roller coaster ride.

Life will start taking your bets,

Even with backlogs you will one day stride.

 

So I am working now, or at least I am supposed to,

Still haven’t figured out the How, only similarity between me and you.

Yet we work so hard at times, either to stay in office or to flea from sight.

When my system gets frozen I take it as a sign, I am hungry, let’s grab a bite.

 

In short, I have written a long post,

But hey, who said life is fair.

Oh my Einstein friend, scarier than a ghost,

Let’s see who blinks first in the game of stare.
