My “Silent Words”

Dear Blogosphere,

Today I want to tell the whole world that I am now an Author.

Yes, that’s right.

I have been writing for over 5 years now and always wanted to see my work in the form of a Book. Last year in June’19, I started working towards making this dream come true and dedicated a good 6 months to it.

Today, I don’t have much to say as I am elated and humbled by all the love, support and good wishes that have been bestowed on me by my friends, family and last but not the least, my readers.

Therefore, without any further adieu let me introduce you to my first book, Silent Words.

“Hear and connect with the real you, every whisper will be true.”

Final showdown

It was the last time we ever gazed

into each other’s eyes.

Gone are those days

and life is what it is today.

But before we turned around

and walked our separate paths

there was this moment…

It was just this moment

when we both realised,

A good rival is also very important.

A good enemy helps you to improve.

-Nishant, The Poet and the Pen

I was Me

Every time the dusk got delayed,

Or the morning sun felt harsh,

Sound of life seemed disarrayed,

Or water disappeared in the marsh,

Loved ones took a separate turn,

Old enemies met at the crossroads,

Water started to burn,

And decrypted were all my codes,

I came to this place I now call home.

There is always a place for me,

Here I am always allowed to be,

The person you see every now and then.

I cannot tell you how but,

The Poet and the Pen (my blog) saved me.

I was always Me.

Blogging has this beautiful thing in it. It makes you feel so special, so connected to yourself. Sometimes I find out so much about so many things when I sit behind this blog and dive into the World of Words.

Blogging is a good addiction and I am addicted.

Con-Text

I know life is not all proses and rhymes.

At times it just exclaims!

Every step carries a question,

And every paragraph has its own frame.

Somehow we never run out of conjunctions,

Neither do we run short of scenes.

And no matter how hard we try for perfection,

We mess things up with that punctuation in between.

Despite all this we believe in someone else’s writings.

Knowing deep down that we all are the same, human beings.

So why does this happen?

While most of us keep documenting our lives,

Some write a poem with their feelings.

Youths of the City

Quote

It’s time someone spoke about the sacrifice and the hard work that the Youth of a city does. Youths of the city, give yourselves a round of applause. You deserve it. 🙂

Don’t let the glimmering lights trick you,

Fancy rides freak you, Lavish sites flick you,

Astounding Amenities rick you.

For the Youth of the City is sick too.

Denounce the false proposition,

“City life is easy and grand”.

If you really need to know the situation,

Just see the Youths of the City as they stand.

Life revolves from Monday to Friday,

With weekends spent detoxing.

Young minds with tired eyes say,

How Citylife can be enforcing.

Youths of the city, cheers to you,

For doing what you do.

Citylife which seems so easy,

Is because you make it true.

~Youth from a City

चाहे जो भी हो

Just smile at the end of the day, that’s all. It’s that simple.

Paramount

What is the best we can do?

– Give our everything.

What is everything?

Heart, Hard work, Honesty, and Hope.

Let’s break this dilemma down for once and for all.

Heart:-

In order to achieve, first believe.

For without believe there is no hope.

Ensure your heart is ready to heave,

As it is a steep and long slope.

Hard-work:-

Everything comes for a price,

Dreams too, if you will.

Luck can simply roll the dice,

Hard-work is the greatest skill.

Honesty:-

Pursue only if you are sure,

Time is superior to money.

Honest aim is the trait of mature,

Otherwise you life is just funny.

Hope:-

Once the heart is ready and beating,

Once the mind is prepared to work,

And when honesty is doing your bidding,

Have hope, you will never be stuck.
