I would love to

A message from one to another.

And when this all will be over,

Would you take a walk with me?

We shall revisit our favourite places,

Drink lots and lots of coffee.

Crib about calorie intake

while eating a 3 course meal

and share that pudding cake,

Your presence makes me heal.

Talk about our days

and laugh at our old mistakes.

Convey so much without saying,

Let our eyes do the talking.

You pick me up and I shall drop you later,

Hours pass while we discuss silly matters.

And then when this all will be over,

Would you take a walk with me?

I know I would want to

Because I Love You.

On the seat right next to mine

there was an old & torn book.

Faded ink on it spoke of a time,

Long gone now. It seemed bespoke.

Out of habit to turn pages,

My eyes started running over the faded words.

A few pages later there was a bookmark

on which written were these words…

Once you read, place the marker into the next page

and write a few lines about yourself,

Become a part of the book of age.

Keep it back on the seat, this was never meant for a bookshelf.

Upon doing as instructed I figured, I was reader number 511.

The book once belonged to this traveller

Who wished to meet the World.

Alas! he could not for time ran out. He was a believer.

He was reader number 001

and now I was a part of his world.

Little Lucy

A Letter to a loved one. To all those who stay away from their loved ones and miss them desperately at times.

Hey little one, how are you?

Your brother misses you too.

I hope you have learnt to tie your laces,

And did Father take you to the Zoo?

It’s been a while since I saw your face,

As annoying as you can be, I love our chase.

I wonder if my room is still mine?

Nonetheless, in my heart you will always have your space.

Dear Lucy, times are tough.

You might not see me anytime soon.

But you have to do something very important,

My dear Brave Captain, Angel of June.

Keep making everyone smile,

You beautiful kid, I am so proud.

You know, when you laugh I can hear in my heart,

Dear Lucy, when you miss me look at the clouds above.

I will hug you soon one day,

Take you to the places where you want to stay.

Buy you all the toys and candies,

And sit quietly and do as you say.

When I get tired I think of you,

You are my inspiration, my strength too,

Until the day you see your big brother,

I want you to read this, “I love you too”.

Yours Sincerely,

This letter is to you. Yes, all of you.

Regardless of time, date, year or nation, this Letter will always be true. I have often wondered what is eternal, actually nothing but just words. Hope you like it. If you do, write a letter yourself. 😉

Read to know…know to read

An open letter on an eternal date,

Wishes to end and start a debate.

Keeping aside the prejudiced love and hate,

Yours Sincerely, Fate.

Hope you are doing well,

If yes, Kudos!. If no, then please tell.

Letters are ways to end what dwells,

Fate writes only spells.

Based on the memory of human history,

Either you are fiction or a mystery.

Regardless, you are trying to find your own trajectory,

Write to me, Fate, and seek victory.

I wish you to write and thereby be written,

I am your creation which you have forgotten.

Write letters like the one you just read,

Fate is crafted it is said.

Only you can know your trait,

Only you know what makes you great,

You decide the time and date,

I will meet you there. Yours Sincerely, fate.
