Twist and Shout!

This Poem will require you to stand up, close your eyes, put on some music and dance.

Whoof! A lot of instructions in one line, right?

To hell with everything people!, just go crazy. I know I do 😉

Twist and Shout!

Close the door on the outdoor drama,

Dim the lights as you see fit,

Twist to capture the space in panorama,

And Shout as if you have been hit.

Let the music guide your steps,

And the company of friends help you instead.

A mental exercise that needs no reps,

Even if you can’t, just dance in your head.

Twist and Shout and scream to be alive,

It is a feeling and not a state.

On getting through the day just high five,

Twist and Shout! it feels so great.

I cannot dance yet I do,

I cannot sing yet I do,

I can though ask you to,

Twist and Shout and be a little you.
